Brittany, Spa Coordinator
Brittany has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as a Spa Coordinator since December 2016. Having worked mostly in the area(s) of restaurant and retail, she is very familiar with general customer service, doing quality work and making customers happy. Strengths that Brittany possesses include being a quick leaner, paying attention to detail, and being friendly. Brittany is working on earning her degree from Washington State University. When she is not working, she like to spend time with family and friends, travel, spend time at her vacation home and shopping.
Sasha, Spa Coordinator
Sasha has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as a Spa Coordinator since June 2017.
Alanna has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as an Esthetician since August 2016. Alanna has been a Licensed Esthetician since 2007, after she graduated from Shoreline Cosmetology College in Capitola, California. She is licensed in both California and Washington. Over the years, Alanna has continued her education at The International Dermal Institute, Twin Lakes College of Healing Arts, and East West School of Herbology. Her studies and certifications include: advanced skin care, cosmetic chemistry, acupressure facial rejuvenation, electrical modalities, medium-depth peels, phototherapy, microdermabrasion, reiki, polarity, massage, aromatherapy and AromaTouch Technique. Alanna has always had a passion for esthetics and skincare, and loves working with clients to help them achieve their skin’s health goals. In her free time, Alanna enjoys hiking, yoga, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Tasha has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as an Esthetician since May 2016. Tasha loves helping people feel beautiful and helping improve the appearance and health of the skin. Tasha graduated from the esthetics course at Evergreen Beauty College in Bellevue. She finds it important to understand product ingredients in both the products used in the spa, as well as those available for home care and thus can better select a product for each person’s specific needs. She has additional training in AromaTouch Technique. In her spare time, Tasha spends time in volunteer work and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Erin has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as a Licensed Massage Therapist since May 2016. Having worked mostly in the areas of spa and treatment massage for salons and clinics, she is very familiar with releasing tension and adhesions, increasing range of motion and making sure your massage is everything you want it to be. Strengths that she possesses include being on time, attentive to client’s needs and always wanting to help people feel better. Erin earned her certificate from Cortiva Institute. She has additional training in AromaTouch Technique, Cupping, Pre and Perinatal Massage, Reflexology and Sports Massage. She started her career, because she wanted to help people and make sure that she is making a difference in someone’s day. When Erin is not working she enjoys spending time with her nephew and boyfriend, as well as getting out and exploring all the beautiful things Washington has to offer.
Keturah has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as a Licensed Massage Therapist since June 2015. Her clients are the reason she loves coming to work every day. Strengths that Keturah possesses include relaxation and helping release tension from daily activities, which is why she is so good at her job! Keturah earned her certificate from Everest College in April 2014. She has additional training in AromaTouch Technique and Cupping. When Keturah is not working, she likes to spend time with her son.
Marcela has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as a Licensed Massage Therapist since October 2014. Having worked mostly in the area of medical massage, such as deep tissue, she is very familiar with Swedish, Pre-Natal, Sports, Chair and Hot Stone massage. Strengths that Marcela possess include treatment work and she can identify what each body needs, to treat it. She is able to read the body and know when it needs more or less pressure. She can also give a great relaxation massage. Marcela earned her certificate from Everest College in Massage Therapy in 2012. She has additional training in AromaTouch Technique, Arthritic Conditions, Cupping, Muscle-Specific Deep Tissue Techniques for the Posterior, Lateral and Anterior Neck, Muscle-Specific Deep Tissue Techniques for the Chest; Sidelying Shoulders and Back, Techniques for the Lower to Mid Back, Gluteals, and Hips and Trigger Point Therapy. When she is not working she loves to spend time with her son and enjoy the outdoors.
Megan S., LMT
Megan has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as a Licensed Massage Therapist since March 2014. Having worked mostly in the areas of deep tissue, she is very familiar with treatment, Swedish and pre-natal. Strengths that she possesses include being in tune with Client’s needs, goals and lengths of treatment, which is why she is good at her jo! Megan earned her certificate from Cortiva Institute in December 2013. Megan lives in Tacoma with her boyfriend and their son. When she is not working, she likes to watch movies and play with her son.
Megan W., LMT
Megan has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa as a Licensed Massage Therapist since September 2016. As a Licensed Massage Therapist for four years, having worked mostly in the areas of injury, deep tissue, and spa like relaxation for Chiropractors and local spas, she is very familiar with trigger point therapy and injury work. Strengths that Megan possesses include being great at finding the exact sore spots, using leverage to get enough pressure, and making sure the client is always comfortable, which is why she is so good at her job! Megan earned her certification in Massage Therapy from Everest College in Tacoma, Washington. She is certified in myofascial balancing of the pelvis and is also certified in hot stone from American Massage and Bodyworks Association. She has additional training in AromaTouch Technique and Cupping. When Megan is not working, she likes to spend time with her husband, hike, play disc golf, play with the dogs, bake, paint, and do a lot of random activities.
Valentina has been employed at Good For You Massage & Day Spa since December 2013. She graduated from Cortiva Institute for Massage Therapy in 2012. She is very familiar with Swedish and Deep Tissue techniques and enjoys giving a combination of the two to give each client relieving and relaxing results. She has additional training in AromaTouch Technique, Cupping and Reflexology. Strengths that she possesses include excellent communication skills with her clients to help treat their needs. She shares what is being worked on to gain trust and produce outstanding results with each session, so your body feels and moves better! Valentina enjoys massaging and seeing great improvement. In her spare time she likes to cook, spend time with her family and travel to miscellaneous places.
